GSBS Digital Tutor is a digital lesson tutoring platform designed to support learning. It does not replace conventional schooling or formal classroom education. Students using this platform must remain enrolled in and actively attend their registered primary or secondary schools as required by Nigerian law. This platform is not accredited by any Nigerian educational authority as a school, college, or learning institution.
GSBS Digital Tutor is not a registered school, formal educational institution, or accredited examination centre under any Nigerian federal or state educational body. We do not issue academic certificates, qualifications, or credentials of any kind. No certificate, award, or recognition issued by this platform is recognised by WAEC, NECO, JAMB, NERDC, or any government agency.
We make every reasonable effort to align all lesson content with the Nigerian national curriculum (NERDC) and the standards of WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and Common Entrance examination bodies. However, we cannot guarantee that all content is perfectly current, complete, or free from occasional errors. Students are strongly advised to cross-reference lesson content with approved school textbooks, official syllabi, and their classroom teachers. The Platform should be used as a supplementary resource, not as the sole source of study material.
Responses generated by the Platform's digital tutoring system are educational aids based on the lesson content provided. While we work to ensure accuracy and relevance, these responses may occasionally be imprecise, incomplete, or not fully up-to-date. Students should not rely solely on digital tutor responses for examination preparation. All responses are supplementary to — not a replacement for — qualified teacher instruction.
Using the GSBS Digital Tutor platform does not guarantee improved examination performance or any specific academic outcome. Results in WAEC, NECO, JAMB, Common Entrance, or school examinations depend on a wide range of factors including consistent school attendance, engagement with qualified teachers, personal study habits, and individual circumstances that are entirely beyond the control of GSBS Solutions Ltd.
Video lessons in Igbo, Yoruba, and Hausa are pre-recorded by qualified educators and stored on the Platform for use by paid plan subscribers. No machine translation is used for local language content. If a topic is not yet available in the student's chosen local language, the Platform automatically falls back to English. The range of topics covered in local languages may be more limited than the English-language content library.
We strive to maintain high platform availability and reliability. However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times. Scheduled maintenance, unexpected technical issues, or third-party service outages may occasionally affect access to the Platform. We will endeavour to notify users of planned maintenance in advance and to restore service promptly in the event of unexpected disruptions.
The Platform depends on third-party services including Supabase (database), Clerk (authentication), Upstash (caching), Cloudflare R2 (media storage), and digital response providers. We make no representations about the availability, accuracy, or security of these third-party services beyond our contractual agreements with them. In the event of a third-party service disruption, some Platform features may be temporarily unavailable.
Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the Platform and ensuring it is used appropriately and in conjunction with conventional schooling. The Family Plan's parent dashboard is provided as a monitoring tool to assist parents, but does not replace active parental involvement in a child's education.
We may update this Disclaimer at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of the Platform following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Disclaimer.
